I got a job - a job I needed so bad, its radio sales, it's a tough one but it's good. Thank You! I only ask that you continue to pray for us untill we are out of the storm completely. Our bills are getting turned off one by one,and my first check we need to eat and get my truck sticker,so we are hanging on with all our faith in The Lord. But I do have a JOB! I send a prayer request for my husband who is suffering from advanced colorectal cancer and is receiving chemotherapy. We are thankful to God for his blessings and for your prayers. I recently asked for everyone to raise me in prayer and I wanted to share my happiness! I had asked that you pray for me to have my transportation restored after an accident totalled my car. You wrote back to me, and said that you would pray for me, and the other woman in the accident to repent, something that I hadn't thought of to do in my frustration. I immediately did so I also asked God to please forgive her and to help me have forgiveness. It was only a few days later I recieved a letter from the insurance company and I am getting 2,000 dollars to buy a new car so that my children and I will have transportation again! I would like to share my joy with you and give thanks to Lord Jesus. My husband Isaac had alcohol problem. We started attending the prayer meetings and since 5 months he has not taken any alcohol. Recently he had an urge for it, went to the beer shop but felt he is already full and felt like throwing up. We believe he is delivered and healed of the bondage of alcoholism because of the Precious Blood of Lord Jesus. Thank You Jesus. He was jobless and in mid October 2000 you had told him that Jesus would bless him with a job in beginning of November, which Jesus did on November 7th. Since then because of his alcohol problem he had taken time off for 2 months but The Hudson Bay Co. did not let him go saying that he is a good worker and since March 2001, he not taken any time off. How can I begin to thank you, taking into consideration when I e-mailed my plea and got the response from you only in 2 days. On May 7th, 2001 my precious Christian son got a wonderful offer for a job in Athens, GA which is where Martha, his wife, is from and where her even parents live and within 4 hours of me. Thank you Jesus for answering the prayers and thank you all in Gethsemane for your prayer support. Thank you Jesus for being amidst two or more gathered in your name, as you said you would. I will continue to pray for your group. God bless you many times over ! We like to thank God for healing our relative Thomas, 65 years old. He was paralysed due to a stroke and was not able to talk or walk. Doctors told that some parts of his brain was not working and there was no hope. With all the prayers, miraculously he got healing last week, now he is able to walk with little support and also can talk. We thank the Almighty God and the people who prayed for us. I write you this letter to let you know that our prayer for Nephew has been answered. I had a phone call from him today saying that almost everything are going to be okay for his registration in school. Thank you for your kind prayers for the Stella Maris camp. It was a success and God worked mightily in the lives of the participants. The community spirit was developed and the students showed greater leadership qualities. No major mishaps happened and the participants had a wonderful time with all sorts of activities geared for their holistic growth. The non Christians had sessions by themselves where they were evangelized and they made some initial commitment to the Lord Jesus. Praise the Lord indeed !!! all glory be to God forever and ever !!! Praise the Lord! From the time I had sent the prayer request, my family and I were fervently praying that the good Lord would provide us with some short term accommodation by June 1st,. Although there were plenty of apartments available, nobody was willing to rent them for less than a year's duration. Whereas, our need was only for 4 months! Yet, we trusted in the Lord, and continued praying as I was sure he would answer our prayers in his own time. And He did! Last week, we got a call from one landlord who is willing to rent his apartment for 4 - 5 months!. We signed the short term lease yesterday.We'll be moving into our new apartment on June 1st. In the gloaming of my tribulation at work, I searched for Christians who can join me in praying and I found this ministry's website. I was encouraged in God's words and my situation was turned around for good. A senior member of staff who was set at destroying my career. As for my wrestle with the evil in him, I considered the battle as God's and not mine. Albeit at times, I viewed his lofty position as his strength. Here are the words..'wait for the Lord, be courageous and He will strengthen you, I say wait for the Lord' (Psalm 27). The Lord showed up and He did not leave me waiting for nothing. My colleague was removed from his position. When anyone is set against you to destroy you, whatever the stronghold in your life believe in God and He will help. I did and see how He helped me!! In December I request prayer for debbie buckley, she was in ICU and was force to eat through a tube. Now Debbie is at home and is doing exception well, the doctors are amazed and everyone who knows what her condition was. The doctors had given her a short time to live but she is here.
